Relief Society Conference

Yesterday I had the pleasure of going to the Women's Conference at the conference center in Salt Lake City with my mom and little sister... and we had a blast!!! We decided to ride the frontrunner to Salt Lake and ride the Trax around town so we didn't have to deal with traffic. We went early and had lunch before and walked around temple square a bit.. We only wish we had more time to shop or something like that. Anyway, here are some pictures from our excursion....

My lovely mother....

All of us at the conference....

I am so happy that my mom invited us to go and was able to get tickets... We don't get to spend much mother-daughters bonding time anymore so it was nice to get away with just the girls for a day...

Lagoon Day!!

Well we had the pleasure of going to Lagoon on Saturday, and we had a blast!! My dad gave me his tickets from work(Thank YOU DAD!!! We Love YOu!!!) and it was kirby's works lagoon day as well. My little sister and her hubby Casey came along, so that made it even better. Preston got to go on quite a few rides and for the most part, loved it. It started raining in the latter part of the day, but we didn't mind. Here are a couple pictures from our day..... On the skyscraper......
On the train

Other than that fun day, not alot has been going on. Last Saturday was an exciting day, though. My mom went through the temple for the first time. To be honest, I never thought I would see that day, but it actually happened!! It was so nice to go with her and see her happy face. I am so proud of her and the things she has accomplished. I love you mommy!!! Well, I think that is all for now.

Peach Days.....

Well peach days this year was a success!!! We had a good time at the parade, and Preston enjoyed it except for the loud noises. I had a whole bunch of family with me, which I LOVED.... It is funny because I feel like everything changes once you have kids. We loved peach days, but we were done by about 8.... Sad huh. It was just so exhausting and we didn't bring our stroller (long story, I will have to tell it to you another day) and so we had to have my bro-in-law Kirb bring it from our house so we could go the rest of the day.It was really awesome that we got to see every person of my family at sometime throughout the day, and that rarely happens. SO that was nice. I am a little upset with myself though because I forgot to take ANY pictures of the whole thing......
